Chat Watch can:

Log both sides of instant message conversations - With Chat Watch you can read what your child says and what the other person says back. The time and date of the conversation is logged along with the full text of the chat. Block Instant Messages.

Report back to the parent what is found - Chat Watch can automatically e-mail you the chat logs or the logs can be reviewed using Chat Watch on the computer.

Reporting of Log Conversations

Have the Logs E-Mailed to You - Chat Watch can automatically send the chat logs to your e-mail address for remote viewing.

Network Copying - The chat logs can be automatically copied across a network to a shared directory. This feature is perfect for network administrators who need to monitor Chat Watch on several computers.

Security Features

Stealth Mode - Chat Watch can be set to run in Normal mode or Stealth mode.

If Chat Watch is set to Normal mode, Chat Watch's icon will be shown in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen. Chat Watch will also appear in the list of running programs. Even though Chat Watch is visible to the user, logs cannot be viewed or deleted without supplying the password.  Block Instant Messages.

If Chat Watch is set to Stealth mode, Chat Watch's icon will not be shown in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen. Also, Chat Watch will not be shown in the list of running programs. The user of the computer will never know Chat Watch is running. While in Stealth mode, press the hot key to show Chat Watch. The hot key is customizable and can be set to fit your needs.  Block Instant Messages.

Disable Task Manager - Disable access to the Windows task manager while Chat Watch is running.  Block Instant Messages.

Parental Control Features

Content Monitor - Chat Watch includes a content monitor and scheduling options to give parents the control they need. The content monitor analyzes each chat for a pre-set list of offensive keywords. If a keyword is found, that chat will be shown in red. You can add your own words to the word list. You may want to add your phone number, address, or other personal information so you can be sure it is not being given to strangers.

Scheduling Options - New in Chat Watch 3 is the scheduling options. Scheduling allows you to set a time interval and a date for which chatting for a selected user of the computer is not allowed. Chat Watch will not allow any chat activity on any of the instant messengers during that time.  Block Instant Messages.

Chat Watch is a program for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP that monitors both sides of chat conversations. Chat Watch logs incoming and outgoing messages on ICQ, AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger, and Yahoo Messenger.
